The Schwarzsee Lake between Kitzbühel and Reith is one of the most beautiful bathing lakes in our mountains. The base of the lake consists of peat soil and this helps it warm up quickly in spring developing beneficial health effects.
The Schwarzsee (the Black Lake), which lies between Kitzbühel and Reith is one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alps. It has some lovely areas to enjoy a walk and afterwards you can jump into the cool, healthy marsh water and enjoy some sunshine surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. Other highlights and activities at the Schwarzsee are the electric propelled boats, with which you can sail across the lake, the beach volleyball courts and the children’s water slides. If you fancy a spot of relaxation you can pamper yourself and lie on the sun terraces of the Seebistro whilst enjoying snacks and coffee
If you have already explored the Schwarzsee, the Gieringer Weiher offers an easy alternative to hiking and biking in the area of "Bichlach" for pure relaxation and recovery. Gieringer Weiher is a small romantic lake and a natural oasis of calm and relaxation where pets are also allowed.
The bathing lake Going is situated on the edge of a forest with a panoramic view of the Wilder Kaiser, an arms length away. An international jury voted it the loveliest natural bathing lake in Tyrol, and that's not just becauce it is fed from the mountain springs of the Wilder Kaiser. On the flat white beach, the water in the separate children's and non-swimmer's bay warms up to a pleasant 24 degrees Celsius. A hundred metre long open air slide and an extra wide water slide make a good time at the loveliest natural lake in Tyrol a holiday hit, which you are sure to keep coming back to. Sunbathe on the 50.000 m² of surrounding grass and breathe in the fresh mountain air.
Due to it's clear size, the separate baby wading pool and the water slide, our outdoor pool is especially popular with families with children. In addition, there is a large lawn, a beach volleyball court and a restaurant with snacks and drinks. Open in good weather from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
